Sand Hills of North Carolina

Bio: I was "Johnny" in my grandparents longhouse until I went to a public school off the Indian reservation. Then the teacher told me I was a "John". It was that way until I became a Jack, an indigenous man, walking, thinking, moving through space,place and time. Now, I am far away from that place but it is always near in my mind. It was when I graduated from the university that I discovered a truth. I could imagine my self.
